These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.dolceitalyescape.com (the "Website") and your purchase of services offered through the Website. The Website is owned and operated by Dolce Italy Escape LLC, based in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using this Website and/or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.
1. Who we are and what we do
Dolce Italy Escape LLC is a travel consulting business that provides:
blog content and inspiration about travel in Italy;
Initial Consultation: a first call to get to know you, understand your travel style and needs, and help you decide whether and how we can work together;
Basic Consultation: a consultation service for travelers who have already planned or partly organized a trip to Italy and want extra advice, deeper explanations, or help resolving doubts;
custom itinerary planning services in three levels:
Standard Consultation: custom itinerary planning up to 7 days in Italy (including arrival and departure days);
Advance Consultation: custom itinerary planning up to 10 days in Italy (including arrival and departure days);
Premium Consultation: custom itinerary planning up to 15 days in Italy (including arrival and departure days);
Ready2Go itineraries: pre‑designed, ready‑to‑use 10‑day itineraries for specific destinations in Italy, which can be purchased as‑is or customized for an additional fee.
We do not operate as a travel agency or tour operator and we do not make bookings on your behalf.
2. No travel agency – your own bookings
All our services are consulting and planning services only.
We provide ideas, suggestions, and detailed itineraries.
You remain fully responsible for making all actual bookings (flights, trains, hotels, tours, activities, tickets, car rentals, insurance, etc.) directly with third‑party providers.
Any contracts for travel services are between you and the relevant providers, not with Dolce Italy Escape LLC.
We are not responsible for the availability, quality, safety, or policies of any third‑party travel providers.
3. Description of services
3.1 Initial Consultation
The Initial Consultation is a call or online meeting to get to know your travel style, budget, interests, and needs, and to recommend which of our services may be a good fit for you (or if our services are not suitable).
The Initial Consultation may be free or paid, as indicated on the Website at the time of booking.
3.2 Basic Consultation
The Basic Consultation is for travelers who have already planned or booked part of their trip to Italy and want:
extra advice,
deeper explanations,
help refining their itinerary or resolving doubts.
We do not change or manage your bookings with third parties; we only advise you based on the information you share.
3.3 Standard, Advance and Premium Consultation (custom itineraries)
Our custom itinerary planning services are offered at three levels, each including arrival and departure days:
Standard Consultation: custom itinerary planning up to 7 days in Italy (including arrival and departure days);
Advance Consultation: custom itinerary planning up to 10 days in Italy (including arrival and departure days);
Premium Consultation: custom itinerary planning up to 15 days in Italy (including arrival and departure days).
In each case, we create a personalized itinerary based on your preferences, interests, and budget.
The service includes planning and recommendations, but not bookings.
The scope of the work (what is included, number of revisions, delivery format, etc.) will be described on the Website or in our communication with you before you confirm and pay.
3.4 Ready2Go itineraries
Ready2Go itineraries are pre‑designed itineraries for specific destinations in Italy, available for purchase as digital products or documents.
Each Ready2Go itinerary currently includes a 10‑day trip plan, including arrival and departure days, as described on the Website.
The standard Ready2Go itinerary (10 days) is offered at a price of 395 USD, and can be used as‑is.
If you request a custom plan based on a Ready2Go itinerary (for example, changes to destinations, length of stay, or activities), this becomes a customized service and the price is 995 USD.
Details about what each Ready2Go itinerary includes and any updates to pricing will be shown on the Website or communicated to you before you purchase.
4. Prices, payment and refunds
All prices for our services are listed on the Website or communicated directly to you.
Prices are in US dollars (USD), unless otherwise stated.
Payment is usually required in advance before we begin delivering the service or sending you any itineraries.
Payments are processed through third‑party payment platforms; by paying, you also agree to their terms and conditions.
Our refund policy (if any refund is allowed) will be described on the Website or in the specific service description. If no refund policy is mentioned, all sales are considered finaland non‑refundable, except where required by applicable law.
5. Your responsibilities as a client
When you work with us, you agree to:
provide accurate and complete information about your travel plans, budget, preferences, and any special needs;
carefully check all information we provide and verify it directly with official sources (such as airlines, train operators, hotels, local authorities, and government websites);
obtain any required travel documents (passports, visas, permits), insurance, and health-related documentation;
comply with all laws and regulations of the countries you visit.
You are solely responsible for your travel decisions and for any bookings you make.
6. Travel risks and no guarantees
Travel involves risks and many factors outside of our control, such as:
changes in prices, schedules, opening hours, or availability;
delays, cancellations, strikes, and transportation problems;
weather events, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events;
changes in entry rules, health requirements, or safety conditions.
We do not guarantee:
that any specific hotel, restaurant, activity, or experience will be available or suitable for you;
that the information we provide will always be up‑to‑date at the time of your trip.
We are not responsible for any losses, delays, injuries, or damages you may experience while traveling.
7. Website use and intellectual property
You agree to use the Website only for lawful, personal, and non‑commercial purposes.
Unless otherwise stated, all original content on the Website (including text, layout, graphics, and designs) is the property of Dolce Italy Escape LLC.
